Attila Balogh

I have recently accepted a position at Cornell University's Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management as postdoctoral associate, working under the supervision of Professor Matthew Baron.

I have a Ph.D. in finance from UNSW Sydney and I spent 18 months of my doctoral studies at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School as a visiting researcher, hosted by Professor Renée Adams.

My doctoral dissertation examines the role of shareholder activism in influencing corporate governance, the organization of corporate boards, and the director labor market. My general research interests are corporate governance, applied microeconomics and economic history.
